Marinette and located in
the upper north east
portion of the state.
The original
Wausaukee Village was
founded in 1887 by John
S Monroe to support the
logging industry. Check

The name Wausaukee comes
from the Menominee
Indians, the native
settlers of this area,
and means "among the
rolling hills."

Wausaukee area
walkers may use the hallways for exercise
walking from the hours of 6 AM to 7:30 AM and
3:30 PM to 9 PM. Vacations, inclement
weather and special events are the only
