         The Amberg Museum and Historical Complex is located on County Highway V, 1/3 mile West of Highway 141.  The Museum offers exhibits on granite quarrying, logging, turn-of-the-century domestic life and needlework.  Many historical documents and photographs are also on display.

         Open:  Saturdays and Sundays 10AM to 4PM and holidays from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  At other times you may call 759-5672, 759-5744, or  759-5281 for a museum guide to open the Museum for you.  Free admission.  Souvenir items are available.

         Description: Volunteer mentoring program similar to Big Brothers/Big Sisters that matches an adult to a child who needs and wants our services.  This is a once a week commitment that would enhance and enrich the self-esteem, social interactions, and life skills of the child.  Potential mentors will be screened, interviewed, and then matched with a child aged 6-12.  Potential mentors are accepted at all times of the school year.

         Description: Branch of the Marinette County Library System, Volunteers accepted for reading programs, librarian assistance, . All library materials are now bar-coded and there is a new book drop in the Library's door for video & audio materials only. There 2 a computer for Internet access open for the public at all times. We also have a volunteer to help people with the internet by appointment only. There is now a computerized checkout. Patrons can inter-loan their own books over the internet, renew books & other patron functions.  There is a special computer set up for children's learning use. Initially set up with learning games & a typing program with sound and additional learning tools. Parents are encouraged to stop in with their children & check out the newest library addition. Our hours are 9a.m.-6p.m. Mon. Wed. & Fri.
