Wausaukee & Athelstane Presbyterian Churches are
offering Summer Bible School at the Athelstane
Presbyterian Church for ages 5 and up. The program
is called BEACH PARTY: SURFIN’ THROUGH THE
SCRIPTURES. Each
morning will include Bible stories, science
activities, surfin’ tunes, crafts, games and snacks
from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Pre-registration is

being held at the Wausaukee High School from 4 PM to
9 PM. Featuring free gun locks, Kid Care ID, mock
crash scene, Eagle III Helicopter, Food Booth,
McGruff The Crime Dog, Louie the Lightening Bug,
Bicycle Rodeo, K-9 Demo, Dunk Tank, Games & Prizes,
Info and Vehicle Display, Fireworks, Taser Demo,
Field Sobriety Demo, live entertainment and more.

@ Silver Cliff Memorial Picnic Grounds, Intersection

at 10 AM, games, food, booyah, face painting,
raffles with cash prizes from $1000 to $200, DJ

Augustine's Parish Church Picnic @ the St Augustine
Church (Wausaukee) on the hill adjacent to the
church. Outdoor Mass at 10 am, food, music, family

United Presbyterian Church of Amberg will hold
Vacation Bible School from Monday Aug 11 to
Wed Aug 13th. 9 am to 11 am, children 3 years to 6th

Education will hold a question & answer session at

Middle Inlet Fire Department Open
House Saturday from 11am to 6pm. Fireman's water
ball contest at noon, bounce castle, raffles,
children's games, bake sale, demonstrations, brats,
burgers, hot dogs, live old country music from 1 to
5pm, drawings at 5. Tickets for drawings are $1 each
or seven for $5.00. Winners need not be present.
August 17th,
The First Presbyterian
Church of Wausaukee will host an hour long old
fashioned Hymn Sing on Sunday at 7 pm. A reception
will follow in the church basement dining room. The
public is invited.

Volunteer Fire Department Parade on Saturday at
11am. Picnic festivities will begin at the Firemen's
Pavilion. Food, beer, soda, games, lawn mower
tractor races, and a horseshoe tournament. Live
music from Rick Hanson 1 to 3 pm, Live Band "Cest
La" from 7-11 pm.

Sunday - 11AM, Mullany
McTrusty American Legion Post 428 and
Auxiliary Unit Amberg will hold their Turkey Shoot
and Raffle. Veterans Memorial Park on County V west
of Amberg. Food, Drinks, Games, Raffles with cash

Auction Fund Raiser for Athelstane Fire Department
and Silver Cliff Rescue Squad. Parade line up on at
New Gas Station on Benson Lake Road 10AM with Parade

Northwoods Bar on Cty A & Benson Lake Rd.

Library will celebrate a month long salute to aprons
called "Tie One On". Starting the first week in
September, we will have apron handouts where
participants can write down their apron memories.
We will be displaying aprons of all uses and will
end the month-long salute with a program on Wed.,
Sept. 24 from 1-3PM For more information please

host a Chili & Soup Fest at Silvercliff Memorial
Park. Twenty different varieties of chili and soup
will be available along with pie, ice cream, music
beer, soda, and 50/50 raffles. Bake sale proceeds go
to the Children's Miracle Network.
